2025 Roaster of the Year!
Official Statement - Since 2005, Wonderstate Coffee has been dedicated to roasting exceptional, ethically sourced coffee that sparks connection, inspires curiosity, and nurtures communities.
From our solar-powered roastery in Viroqua to our industry-leading farmer compensation model and our B Corp certification, every choice reflects our belief that great coffee can serve a collective future—and that meaningful change takes time and care. Whether on a farm in Peru or in one of our cafes, we’re guided by the same spirit: you don’t have to be big to make a real impact.
Exceptional coffee starts with the land and the people who nurture it. We partner directly with like-minded farmers and cooperatives, paying well above industry standards to support resilient communities. Each coffee is handled with precision and care, honoring its origin and the story it tells. The result is vibrant, expressive coffees that celebrate craftsmanship and the thread connecting the farm to the final cup.
